Return Policy
You are eligible for a return if you can prove that an incorrect product, medicine, or item different from your original order was delivered. If you want to return a product due to a prescription change advised by your doctor, the product must be unused and in its original packaging. To request a return, please call our helpline or file a complaint through our website or hotline.
Customers must provide proof that Biomed Online Pharmacy delivered the wrong item, which is required for audit purposes.

Important Return Conditions:
Customers are requested to open the package in front of the delivery rider.
Any issues must be reported immediately.
Post-delivery complaints regarding item accuracy, quantity, or expiration will not be accepted.
If a third party receives the delivery, they must check the items properly.
Customers should sign the delivery invoice; otherwise, return claims may not be accepted.
Return requests must be made within 6 hours of receiving the item.
Our team will arrange pickup within 24 to 72 hours.
For prescription changes, a valid updated prescription must be provided within 30 days of receiving the item.

Return Charges:
If the return is due to Biomed’s error, there is no return or delivery charge.
If the customer wants a replacement along with the return, new delivery charges apply.
If the return is due to a customer error (e.g., wrong order, invalid prescription), the customer must bear delivery charges and a 7.5% service charge will be deducted from the refund.
After receiving the returned item, our team will verify its resalable condition.
If the item is not eligible for return, no refund will be issued.

Exchange Process
Customers must provide the following information:
Name and quantity of returned medicine
Invoice of returned item

Refund Policy
Refunds will be processed in the following situations:

If Biomed fails to supply the ordered item
For courier charges, the higher of ৳140 will be deducted
Refunds will be processed within 1 to 7 working days

গ্রাহকের পক্ষ থেকে কোনো ভুলের কারণে (যেমন ভুল অর্ডার, অবৈধ প্রেসক্রিপশন, অতিরিক্ত ওষুধ ফেরত দিতে চাইলে) গ্রাহককে রিটার্ন আইটেমের ডেলিভারি খরচ বহন করতে হবে এবং 7.5% সেবাশুল্ক কর্তন করা হবে রিফান্ডের পরিমাণ থেকে।
রিটার্ন আইটেমটি অফিসে ফেরত পাওয়ার পর, Biomed Online Pharmacy Team আইটেমটি পরীক্ষা করবে এবং এটি পুনরায় বিক্রয়ের উপযোগী কিনা তা নিশ্চিত করবে।

Pharmacology

Progesterone Micronized softgel capsule contains micronised progesterone, which is structurally and biologically identical to natural endogenous progesterone. Micronisation increases the bioavailability of progesterone. When micronised progesterone is administered after meals, maximal serum progesterone levels are significantly increased. Progesterone concentrations in the endometrial and breast tissue attain high level. Progesterone is approximately 96%-99% bound to serum proteins, primarily to serum albumin (50%-54%). Progesterone is metabolized to pregnanediols and pregnanolones in the liver. The glucuronide and sulfate conjugates of pregnanediol and pregnanolone are excreted in the bile and urine. Progesterone metabolites, which are excreted in bile, may undergo enterohepatic circulation.

Dosage & Administration

The usual recommended dose: Progesterone 100 mg/200 mg 2 to 3 soft gel capsules daily by the oral or vaginal routes in divided doses. Flexible dosage regimen can be followed depending on the indication and requirements of patients.

Maintenance of Pregnancy in cases of Threatened / Recurrent abortion: Progesterone 200 to 400 mg per day in divided doses.

In-vitro fertilization and embryo transfer: Progesterone 200 mg thrice a day from the day of embryo transfer till pregnancy is confirmed. If pregnant, it is continued till 12^th week of pregnancy.

HRT: In sequential regimen: Progesterone 200mg daily for 12 days in last 2 weeks of each therapeutic cycle. In continuous regimen: Progesterone 100 mg daily throughout the month along with estrogen.

Oocyte donation program: Progesterone 100mg twice daily from the day of transfer till pregnancy is confirmed. This may be increased to a maximum of 600 mg per day and continued till 12^th week of pregnancy.

Luteal support: Progesterone 100 mg thrice a day from the 17^th day of the cycle for 10 days in induced cycle. If pregnant, it is continued till 12^th week of pregnancy.

Luteal phase insufficiency: Progesterone 100 mg thrice daily to be continued up to 12 weeks of pregnancy, increasing the dose by 100 mg/day/week to a maximum of 600 mg/day in divided doses if required.

In secondary amenorrhoea: Progesterone 300mg for 10 days results in withdrawal bleeding in 80% of cases.

Premenstrual syndrome: Progesterone 100-200 mg daily for 10 days from 17^th to 26^th day of each menstrual cycle.

Benign mastopathy: Progesterone 200-300 mg for 10 days per month, usually from 17^th to 26^th day of the monthly cycle.

Interaction

Ketoconazole inhibits the metabolism of progesterone.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, hepatic dysfunction, undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, porphyria, cancers of uterus and genital organs, breast cancers, history of stroke or blood clots. It should not be used in a case of miscarriage and tissue left in the uterus.

Side Effects

Microgest is devoid of estrogenic, androgenic and mineralocorticoid effects. Mild somnolence and other CNS side effects like depression, breast tenderness and bloating are reported. Side effects are less when vaginal route is used.
