Return Policy
You are eligible for a return if you can prove that an incorrect product, medicine, or item different from your original order was delivered. If you want to return a product due to a prescription change advised by your doctor, the product must be unused and in its original packaging. To request a return, please call our helpline or file a complaint through our website or hotline.
Customers must provide proof that Biomed Online Pharmacy delivered the wrong item, which is required for audit purposes.

Important Return Conditions:
Customers are requested to open the package in front of the delivery rider.
Any issues must be reported immediately.
Post-delivery complaints regarding item accuracy, quantity, or expiration will not be accepted.
If a third party receives the delivery, they must check the items properly.
Customers should sign the delivery invoice; otherwise, return claims may not be accepted.
Return requests must be made within 6 hours of receiving the item.
Our team will arrange pickup within 24 to 72 hours.
For prescription changes, a valid updated prescription must be provided within 30 days of receiving the item.

Return Charges:
If the return is due to Biomed’s error, there is no return or delivery charge.
If the customer wants a replacement along with the return, new delivery charges apply.
If the return is due to a customer error (e.g., wrong order, invalid prescription), the customer must bear delivery charges and a 7.5% service charge will be deducted from the refund.
After receiving the returned item, our team will verify its resalable condition.
If the item is not eligible for return, no refund will be issued.

Exchange Process
Customers must provide the following information:

Invoice of returned item

Refund Policy
Refunds will be processed in the following situations:

If Biomed fails to supply the ordered item
For courier charges, the higher of ৳140 will be deducted

গ্রাহকের পক্ষ থেকে কোনো ভুলের কারণে (যেমন ভুল অর্ডার, অবৈধ প্রেসক্রিপশন, অতিরিক্ত ওষুধ ফেরত দিতে চাইলে) গ্রাহককে রিটার্ন আইটেমের ডেলিভারি খরচ বহন করতে হবে এবং 7.5% সেবাশুল্ক কর্তন করা হবে রিফান্ডের পরিমাণ থেকে।
রিটার্ন আইটেমটি অফিসে ফেরত পাওয়ার পর, Biomed Online Pharmacy Team আইটেমটি পরীক্ষা করবে এবং এটি পুনরায় বিক্রয়ের উপযোগী কিনা তা নিশ্চিত করবে।

Indications

Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS): Replet tablet is indicated to reduce the rate of myocardial infarction (MI) and stroke in patients with non-ST-segment elevation ACS [unstable angina (UA)/non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI)]. It is indicated to reduce the rate of myocardial infarction and stroke in patients with acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).

Recent MI, recent Stroke, or established Peripheral Arterial Disease: In patients with established peripheral arterial disease or with a history of recent myocardial infarction (MI) or recent stroke Replet tablet is indicated to reduce the rate of MI and stroke.

Pharmacology

Clopidogrel is a prodrug. It inhibits platelet activation and aggregation through the irreversible binding of its active metabolite to the P2Y12 class of ADP receptors on platelets. Dose-dependent inhibition of platelet aggregation can be seen 2 hours after single oral doses. Repeated doses of 75 mg per day inhibit ADP-induced platelet aggregation on the first day, and inhibition reaches steady state between Day 3 and Day 7.

Dosage & Administration

Acute Coronary Syndrome: In patients who need an antiplatelet effect within hours, initiate clopidogrel with a single 300 mg (4 tablets) oral loading dose and then continue at 75 mg once daily. Initiating it without a loading dose will delay establishment of an antiplatelet effect by several days.

Recent MI, Recent Stroke, or Established Peripheral Arterial Disease: 75 mg once daily orally without a loading dose.

It is given orally with or without food.

Interaction

NSAIDs, warfarin, selective serotonin and serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs, SNRIs): Increases risk of bleeding
CYP2C19 inhibitors (omeprazole or esomeprazole): Avoid concomitant use of omeprazole or esomeprazole
Repaglinide (CYP2C8 substrates): Avoid concomitant use of Replet with Repaglinide as it increases plasma concentrations of Repaglinide

Contraindications

Clopidogrel is contraindicated in the following conditions: Hypersensitivity to the drug substance or any component of the product. Active pathological bleeding such as peptic ulcer or intracranial hemorrhage.

Side Effects

Replet is generally well tolerated drug.

Common side effects: Bleeding, Diarrhoea, gastrointestinal discomfort, haemorrhage, Skin reactions.
Rare side effects: Acquired haemophilia, anaemia, angioedema, arthralgia, arthritis, bone marrow disorders.

Pregnancy & Lactation

There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. It should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. It is unknown whether clopidogrel is excreted in human breast milk. A decision should be made whether to discontinue nursing or to discontinue the drug, taking into account the importance of the drug to the mother.

Precautions & Warnings

As it is a prodrug, so metabolism to its active metabolite is impaired by genetic variations in CYP2C19 (poor metabolizer) and by the drugs that inhibit CYP2C19 such as Omeprazole and Esomeprazole. Concomitant use with these drugs and in CYP2C19 poor metaboliser may reduce the antiplatelet activity of Replet.
As it inhibits platelet aggregation for the lifetime of the platelet (7-10 days), risk of bleeding may increase. To restore hemostasis, platelet transfusions within 4 hours of the loading dose or 2 hours of the maintenance dose may be less effective.
Discontinuation of Replet increases the risk of cardiovascular events. Discontinue 5 days prior to elective surgery that has a major risk of bleeding. Resume Replet as soon as hemostasis is achieved.
Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP) has been reported that requires urgent treatment including plasmapheresis (plasma exchange).
Hypersensitivity including rash, angioedema or hematologic reaction has been reported in patients receiving clopidogrel or history of hypersensitivity to other thienopyridines.

Use in Special Populations

Safety and effectiveness in pediatric populations have not been established. No dosage adjustment is necessary in elderly patients.

Overdose Effects

Overdose following clopidogrel administration may lead to bleeding complications. Based on biological plausibility, platelet transfusion may restore clotting ability.
